The author, Dr. William Hudson, is an Egyptian Arabian horse breeder with 35 years experience. He holds a BS degree in Zoology and is also a cardiologist, having been in the practice of invasive and clinical cardiology in Georgia for 35 years. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology. In addition he holds certification in Nuclear Medicine for handling and transporting radioisotopes from the state of Georgia. He is certified in Clinical Echocardiograhy (ICAEL) and Clinical Nuclear Cardiology (ICANEL). With this background his expertise in DNA analysis and breeding the Egyptian Arabian horse led to the creation of The Matrilines of the Egyptian Arabian Horse, first published in 2018. It is a unique work that provides breeders with information useful in the breeding of the Egyptian Arabian horse.
